“Be kind” by adopting a more sustainable lifestyle “Be healhy” by eating a more balanced and healthy diet “Be active” by doing some kind of activities. It doesn’t really matter what kind of sport you practice, as long as it gets you out of your couch!AMBASSADOR SEBASTIAO FREY ON INSTAGRAMMy name is Sebastiao, I am 27 years old and I live in Geneva, Switzerland. I train between 4 and 5 times per weeks at the gym and I have at least 2 conditioning kind of training, usually it would be a grappling session. I am a part time trainer. I do outdoor classes and during the winter I do my classes in a box I rent. Besides coaching which is not really work for me as I love that, I have opened a company that organise events around personal development. During this summer we have opened our first “Coworking space” where people can rent a place to work during the day. During the evenings, we organise around events, meetup, conferences, formations etc. I love my lifestyle even though it is quite hard to combine work, coaching, workouts and a social life.Regarding my diet, I will say that I am 98% vegan as I don’t go nuts if there is some milk powder in a food that I eat. I try to promote my lifestyle of being active, eating well and takin care of our beloved planet by adopting a more sustainable diet and lifestyle.
Since my formation at the University in Geneva, I’ve developed a strong interest for environmental and social issues in the world. Global warming, oceans pollution, greenwashing and social equality are major threats that we are facing and I really think that it is our duty, as humans to do our best to change things, be more aware and stop damaging our world. By being born in Switzerland by a mother that comes from Brazil, I am fortunate enough to have witnessed extreme poverty and extreme luxury (living in Switzerland is a luxury in my eyes). That let me have a more global vision of the world and it issues.
Since the beginning of 2015, I have progressively taken steps to a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Today, I am following a plantbased diet. The feeling of knowing that no animal has to die in order for me to be healthy and do what I love is quite nice I have to say. During the same year, I have decided to share my passion for sports and having a healthier lifestyle. Since then, I have been coaching several times per week people from all levels of fitness in outdoor and outdoor training class. I love helping people on their path to be healthier, more active and I always try to give them advices about how they can reach their goals and on the same time be kinder to the earth. I think the best way to educate people is by showing them examples that it is possible de eat healthy without starving yourself, that it is possible de be an athlete without consuming any animal products and that you can change things in this world Any change is good, I mean, if you stop eating red meat it is great! Once you are confident enough, you’ll stop eating meat and only consume fish, then only eggs and cheese and then maybe, you will eventually stop eating any animal’s products on a daily basis.
To sum up : being and athlete is a lifestyle that I summarize in three mottos
