In 2012 I have decided to go vegetarian for ethical reasons. However, I soon realized that the only correct and logical diet for me is a purely vegetarian one. At the beginning I dealt with the topic very intensively and informed myself about the whole background. I learned so much in this period of time, how badly we treat the animals, often see them only as products and exploit them as if they were not living beings.

When I started working as a Chef de Service in a purely vegan restaurant in Zurich in 2014, the vegan way of life became more and more normal and less and less a challenge. Meanwhile it has become the most normal thing in the world for me to eat vegan food and to avoid animal origins as much as possible in cosmetics and clothing.

In this period I also started with Yoga. From Vinyasa and Hatha to Bikram and Yin Yoga, I practice all kinds of directions. This balance and the change to the classical weight training is simply brilliant and is also good for the soul.

Due to my work in the restaurant Roots (since summer 2017) I am also more and more involved with protein shakes and other dietary supplements for athletes. As there are several Roots branches in different fitness centres, the offer is mostly aimed at athletes.

Besides all the healthy bowls, smoothies and juices, sandwiches etc., protein shakes (pimped with fruits, oat flakes, nut butter, ...) are also part of our offer. Everything completely vegan of course! ;)

This is how I luckily came across NAKEDFOOD. Since then, NAKEDFOOD's products have been an indispensable part of my private life as well.

Since the end of 2018 I have been exercising regularly 3-5 times a week. I have also found a new challenge in calisthenics. 1-2 times a week I now train almost exclusively with my own body weight. All the different skills (Handstand, Back-/Front Lever, MuscleUp, PullUp, HumanFlag,...) which are trained there are the ideal change for me.

I now train even more regularly and intensively and supplement my healthy vegan diet with my favourite products (VEGA and Sun Warrior are my favourites) from NAKEDFOOD, the muscle build-up is finally even more successful.

The vegan nutrition and sports have brought me a long way physically and motivate me to keep on doing it.
